Abstract

The handling of medical information is a problem in the visualization process, the resolution is an inconvenience, characteristic of DICOM images. In most cases, reading was done through radiographic plates, problem arises when we need a second opinion, the doctor needs to visualize images and a problem arises in sharing the plates, in most cases plates are photographed and sent to you. In these times where we have technology, mobile devices provide high computational capacity and with many applications of different types, where we can have image viewers in DICOM format, managing to share them for online care of certain pathologies, it is necessary to be able to send medical images in its original DICOM format. Our work shows different programs dedicated to manipulation of medical images, up to applications that can be connected to medical equipment such as PACS image servers. Where they are stored. The results allow us to group into two large groups of applications, explaining in a general way how these applications can be used, finally it is concluded that we do not necessarily need to work on special computers, using other devices as an alternative.
