Proceedings of the 2026 International Conference on AI-Driven Smart Systems and Ubiquitous Computing, ICAUC 2026Abstract
Dengue is a vector-borne disease caused by the dengue virus, which causes very serious illnesses and can even lead to death in infected patients. It is transmitted by vectors - arthropods that carry the virus - especially in tropical countries, resulting in high morbidity and mortality rates. This article presents the development of a computer application that analyzes potential outbreaks by evaluating characteristics that facilitate vector proliferation, such as climatic conditions, water accumulation, and the rate of transmission, among others. The resulting risk level is related to a dengue outbreak.
