To design new octapeptins with antibacterial activity that could be candidates for further development.

1. Synthesis of new octapeptins
2. Evaluation of in vitro activity
3. Toxicity determinations
4. In vitro development and characterization of resistant mutants
5. Genomic sequencing of the generated mutants
6. In silico analysis of interactions.
