How much is biodiversity worth to small family farmers in the Peruvian Amazon?

GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To generate rigorous evidence on the preferences of small agricultural producers in the Peruvian Amazon regarding the levels of biodiversity on their respective farms, as a basis for estimating the underlying economic value they assign to a potential increase in biodiversity as a result of adopting practices favorable to its conservation and sustainable management.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
1. To understand the most relevant factors and attributes considered by small agricultural producers (SAPs) in their land use decisions on their farms, and which impact the levels of biodiversity present on these farms.
2. To estimate the economic value assigned by SAPs to the levels of biodiversity present on their respective farms.
