GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To evaluate productivity, hematological, hepatic, pancreatic, and microbiological values in chickens fed plant extracts and diatomaceous earth.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. To serologically evaluate liver enzymes (alkaline phosphatase, alanine transaminase, aspartate aminotransferase, and glutamyl transpeptidase) in chickens fed plant extracts and diatomaceous earth.
2. To determine serum minerals (calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium) in chickens fed plant extracts and diatomaceous earth.
3. To analyze pancreatic enzymes (amylase, lipase, and trypsin) in chickens fed plant extracts and diatomaceous earth.
4. Determine and quantify gastrointestinal bacteria (Salmonella sp. and coliforms) in chickens fed with plant extracts and diatomaceous earth
