GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the effects of functional ingredient supplementation (Alquernat Inmuplus and Alquernat Nebsui) in diets for fingerlings and juveniles of "Nilotic tilapia" (Oreochromis niloticus) maintained in recirculating systems, based on productive performance, intestinal health, and hematological indices.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
1. To compare the productive performance parameters of fingerlings and juveniles of Nilotic tilapia, including weight gain, length gain, specific growth rate, protein efficiency ratio, feed intake, feed conversion, survival rate, and morbidity rate, according to the functional ingredient supplied.
2. To compare changes in the histomorphometry of the intestinal mucosa of fingerlings and juveniles of Nilotic tilapia, based on the measurement of intestinal villus base and height, according to the functional ingredient.
3. To compare hematological indices of fingerlings and juveniles of Nile tilapia, through hematocrit volume, monocyte and neutrophil count, depending on the functional ingredient supplied.
