Grupo peruano de estudio de enfermedades autoinmunes sistémicas

We are a group that works in collaboration with the rheumatology department at Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital, conducting research on systemic autoimmune diseases. Our main areas of interest are systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic vasculitis, systemic sclerosis, and IgG4-related disease. In addition, we collaborate with various research groups, such as the Latin American Lupus Study Group (GLADEL), the Pan American League of Rheumatology Associations (PANLAR) study groups on rheumatoid arthritis, systemic vasculitis, and IgG4-related disease, and we are part of the Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Clinics (SLICC), among others. The Grupo Peruano de Estudio de Enfermedades Autoinmunes Sistémicas is the most productive research group in rheumatology in the country and one of the most important in the region, with nearly 200 articles published in indexed journals to date.
