  1. The GIDS-EP is composed of faculty members and researchers in training who are committed to generating knowledge in psychology as applied to health and well-being. The group pursues four lines of research: (1) Parental Burnout, which analyzes the impact of chronic stress on mothers and fathers and its consequences for the family; (2) Positive Development, focused on the study of strengths, competencies, and protective factors in adolescents and young adults; (3) Psychological Measurement and Assessment, focused on the development and validation of instruments with adequate psychometric properties; and (4) Psychopathological Behaviors, which addresses the epidemiological study of risky behaviors such as substance use or violence. Collectively, the GIDS-EP seeks to contribute to scientific advancement and the promotion of psychological well-being in various contexts.
