Biología y biotecnología reproductiva animal

The research group specializes in the study of reproductive processes in various animal species, with the goal of understanding, optimizing, and improving reproductive efficiency in both domestic and wild species. Our field activities include gynecological and andrological evaluations using ultrasonography, as well as the application of reproductive biotechnologies, such as artificial insemination, oocyte retrieval, and embryo transfer, among others. In the laboratory, we focus on in vitro embryo production and the evaluation of gametes and embryos using advanced techniques, such as fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, and real-time PCR, among others.
