Abstract

Computer networks have been a great help for the scaling of new technologies, communication protocols, system architecture among other ways to develop different applications, in this study a method to manage wireless networks applied to health centers is presented, where the characteristic is the exchange of information between different systems and applications such as medical images, information of clinical results, and the use of different applications. The study presents how the networks can be segmented by the type of applications, and a way to measure the bandwidth consumption by each of the networks, to evaluate their performance and to improve management, as a conclusion we present the ways how to segment the networks and how to organize to take advantage of the best performance of the network in health environments.
