N2 - This research seeks to apply best practices through the new methodology MAC (Quality Assurance Methodology) to ensure quality in software development in public and private companies. Currently, software development companies have a vision and mission in which good practices are fundamental for an ongoing project, since they improve performance in the implementation of their applications. The method focuses on continuous improvement in the quality process, promoting effective tests, tips, techniques and alternatives, among other aspects. The research is purely experimental, supported by the company CANVIA S.A., and 30 projects were evaluated. The results show an improvement in the review of their applications, reducing and preventing failures, resulting in customer satisfaction during the testing process. Therefore, it was possible to apply the MAC methodology in the company, being a process with guidelines of good practices so that other projects can use it. The methodology has 5 indicators that were reduced: delivery time, time for error review, number of errors in testing, total cost of the process and customer satisfaction. In general, the MAC methodology helped to improve the quality assurance process to achieve continuous improvement with those involved in the project.
